We love how The Den Kit make kids take more notice of the world around them - and make it fun too. They can lend a helping hand to nesting birds this spring by offering the perfect materials to weave and line their nests. First you go out in the garden to forage for twigs, moss, hay and feathers, then you add it to the washed sheep’s wool and stuff it loosely inside the sturdy recycled plastic cage for the birds to pick from. Ther's half a coconut shell for use as a bird bath or drinking station and a guide filled with interesting facts about nesting birds. Outside of breeding season the cage is just the right size for 3 fat balls - so they can feed the fledglings they’ve helped to house. It's a year round project that'll fascinate and educate then.
